Almost two thousand members, over one thousand Porsches, and miles of smiles later, Show ‘N Shine Cruise Nites return. Relive the great cruising nites of your youth, when hanging out with your friends at your favorite Kings or A&W was some fun. Life was simple, gas and dates were cheap, going steady was popular. and drive-in movie theaters, jukeboxes, and carhops were just about everywhere. If the oldies bring back some fond memories, you need to check out this event.

America's Drive-In, Sonic, at South 48th and Hiway 2 in Lincoln, will be the place to be. Pop in an 8 track (cassette or CD) with your favorite cruising tunes and come on out! Food will be half price, so it will really be a cheap date even if you bring the whole family. Hours are from 6 to 9 p.m., but like the old days, you can come and go anytime.

The first of three SSCN will be a special nostalgia birthday bash on Saturday, May 24, to celebrate the 14th anniversary of SSCN. Door prizes include metal gas station thermometers, Jan and Dean and Beach Boys CDs, A&W rootbeer mugs, and more! The Gearhead trivia returns, with the winner getting a neon Porsche wall clock!

The second SSCN will be June 21, with the Flatwater Austin Healy Club, and the third will be a special all-German marque nite July 19 with VW, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, and Porsches all welcome!
